All you need to know about FLATWARE.

Flatware options are very important when setting the table. Setting can not be complete until you get the right pieces. Let’s get to know the function of each piece :

Table knife ---designed to cut the prepared and cooked food. With single cutting edge and a blunt end.

Steak knife----which is very similar to the table knife but they are with sharply pointed tip. This is used to cut the meat like steak or any other large meaty foods. Nowadays, it is also served with burgers.

Butter knife --- a small knife that is with blunt edge and used to apply butter , cheese, peanut butter on bread or other foods.

Table fork --- this is what we used for main dishes for each meal, like pasta, rich dish,meat or vegetables.

Dessert fork --- Namely, it is use for dessert, it can be put in above the dinner plate or may be brought to the table when dessert is served.

Salad fork---salad fork is place to the left or right of the dinner fork,depending on when the salad is served. It is used for the salad and vegetables.

Table spoon---it is larger than the dessert spoon or teaspoon,it is used for the main course.

Dessert spoon---it is designed especially for the dessert and sometimes used for cereals as well.

Soup spoon---this is used for soup, bowl-like part at the end of the spoon, round and deeper design.

Teaspoon--- It is a small spoon that can be used to stir a cup of tea or coffee, or as a tool for measuring volume.
